Urban Wood & Steel fabricated custom Heirloom Flats kitchen islands for all apartments – measuring 30″ x 60″ x 34,” built from distressed pine, with fully welded steel frames and steel casters.
We were founded in 2012 by Mike Copela. As a former contractor, Mike wanted the opportunity to work with reclaimed and recycled materials to create rugged, heavy-duty furniture and decor pieces. We specialize in industrial style furniture for businesses and homes, and all of our pieces are handmade in our shop in Hamden.
